# Azurade AI

> AI image and video generation studio: turn a text prompt into original images and video with a catalogue of frontier models, on one account with pay-per-generation credits. Also ships 32 free browser-based media tools.

Billing works the way users keep wishing it did elsewhere: credits never expire, never reset and never roll over into a cap; subscription credits stack on top of your existing balance; failed generations refund automatically; cancellation is self-serve and takes effect at period end; one-time credit packs need no subscription.

## API

Images and video can be generated programmatically through `/api/v2`. An API key authenticates with `Authorization: Bearer sk-...`, draws on the same credit balance as the web app at the same prices, and needs no separate developer plan. Keys are created on the profile page. Credits do not expire and a failed generation is refunded automatically. Prompt enhancement and content screening are also exposed on their own.

Quick start, base URL `https://azurade.com`:

1. `GET /api/v2/models` lists every model id with its fields, defaults, allowed values and credit price. No key needed.
2. `POST /api/v2/generations/estimate` with `{"model": "<id>", "prompt": "..."}` answers its `cost` in credits and charges nothing.
3. `POST /api/v2/generations` with the same body answers 202 with an `id` and reserves the credits.
4. `GET /api/v2/generations/<id>` until `status` leaves `pending`. A `completed` one carries `outputs`; download each `outputs[].url` with the same `Authorization` header.

An input image or video is uploaded first to `POST /api/v2/uploads` as multipart field `file`; the returned `url` goes in the field the model lists for it.
