Higgsfield earned its place as the biggest name in this category: it raised $400M in August 2026 at a $5.4B valuation, reports $700M in annualized revenue, and is the only platform in our census whose traffic still grows at double digits. People looking for alternatives are probably not unhappy with the output.

The usual complaint is billing. There is no pay-as-you-go tier, so a top-up requires an active subscription, and those subscription credits expire every month with no rollover, which means paying to keep a plan alive and still losing whatever you did not spend.

We left models out of the table, because Nano Banana, Seedream, Veo and Wan run on every platform listed (ours too) and nobody has an exclusive.

A well-liked creative tool with a lower entry price and a friendlier reputation than most of this list. Its billing catch is narrower than Higgsfield's but it is the same shape.
