Which barcode format should I choose?+
For a product on a shelf it's usually EAN-13, which is 13 digits. If you need to encode arbitrary text or an SKU, use Code 128, since it accepts letters and digits.
Why isn't the code rendering?+
The value doesn't match the format. EAN-13 requires exactly 13 digits, EAN-8 requires 8, UPC requires 12. The field always shows what's needed.
Will this barcode be accepted on a marketplace?+
The image is generated to the format's standard. But the number itself needs to be your own, officially issued one. We render a code from a number. We don't issue numbers.
What format does the barcode download as?+

Does the data get sent to a server?+
